If you believe in the journey more than the destination, chances are we are more alike than you think. And if that’s the case, then you’ll be rockin with Khi Infinite within seconds of hitting the play button – just like me.
Coming off of his biggest year yet, Khi keeps the momentum going with his new record “Sometimes”, as his first release of the year. Khi Infinite recruits his close friend and longtime collaborator, Palace, to produce this ethereal pop record. On this single, the two show immeasurable chemistry that is reminiscent to Virginia legends, N*E*R*D.
The track starts with slow keys and instantly picks up with drums that quickly sync to your heartbeat. By doing this, the two have created a full body listening experience by transcending the limits of traditional music. When asked about his new single, Khi states that “this song serves as a reminder to always stay present” and has flawlessly passed that message on to everyone that comes across this track.
With only three major releases in the past year, the 20-year-old, Virginia native sticks out of the crowd like a bull in a china shop. Creating unique sounds and pushing against the grain, this has found him spots on Spotify’s “Fresh Finds” and “Study Break” within the past few months. Alongside the music, his creative direction and attention to detail on every piece he’s put out is nothing short of noteworthy. The perfect example is the time and thought that went into the cover art for “Sometimes”. If you take a closer look, Khi has a description of who he is and even put the coordinates to his hometown of Virginia Beach, making this record a little more personal, and way more special.
