Emerging songstress Mamii has released her debut EP titled Black Phoenixx, a product of months of self-discovery and a commentary on renewal.
The 18-track project prevails as a soundscape reminiscent of a myriad of genres, as the rising artist pulls from alternative, R&B and radio influences to create a project that is completely original.
The 19-year old singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist uses her musical platform in order to tell a story of “It’s a personal story that I’m telling. The beginning is explaining how I went through heartbreak, happiness, finding out things about myself I never knew. I finally understood myself. Black Phoeniix is like a rebirth.”
