Gracie Ella / Lady

Canadian artist, Gracie Ella makes her Early Rising debut this afternoon and we couldn’t be happier to showcase such a spectacular talent on our page. Now a days, I hear so much music, but there are certain artists who cause me to do a double taken when I stumble on their music for the very first time. Gracie is one of these artists, as I will never forget the day I heard her voice. Her new song called, “Lady” was sent to me by a friend and I found myself hooked on it from the moment I pressed play. This up and comer possesses the same kind of soulful energy that some of our favorite R&B artists possess as well. Gracie even explained:

“I love soul music, because it’s so beautiful and powerful,” Gracie exclaims. “However, I rarely see girls playing guitar and genuinely rocking out. It’s something you don’t come across too often. That’s what I want to explore though. My music brings those two sides together into something that’s me.”

This new song by Gracie is truly one of the most spectacular offerings that I’ve had the pleasure of listening to during this year alone. “Lady” is truly everything you’d want in a soulful, R&B ballad. Her vocal talents are through the roof as she demonstrates her unbelievable control and powerful range, while showcases her softness all at one time. The words that I write right now can’t even fully encapsulate how much I enjoy this newcomer, but I pray after you watch the video, you’ll know what I mean! I’ve attached “Lady” down below, so give this one a watch and let us know what you think!
