Rachel Bochner / Hating Myself in the Summer

Not too long ago I wrote about New York based singer/songwriter Rachel Bochner and I’m back writing about her today as she’s just released yet another amazing song for music fans all over. One thing I can always count on Rachel bringing to the table when I listen to her music is that it will be fully candid in exploring the emotion that lies within her, and this song is no exception to that.

In her new track “Hating Myself in the Summer”, Rachel openly writes about struggling with self-image, specifically in the summertime. Self-image being a common struggle point for many of us humans, this song is relatable for so many. Rachel doesn’t spare details as she tells us listeners the truth of how she feels on top of a wonderfully produced summertime bop. Her ability to write songs that are both catchy and deep all in one continues to be one of the reasons I’ll be a fan of hers for the long haul. Do yourself a favor and check this song out ASAP!

As always I’ve attached the song down below, so be sure to listen to it while you’re here!
