ada lea / damn

This week I stumbled across one of my new favorite singer/songwriters Alexandra Levy, better known as Ada Lea. The Montreal based artist caught my attention quickly with her unique sound and powerful songwriting. One song in particular, “damn”, really drew me in, so you know I had to share it with you all!

“Damn” starts with an incredibly groovy guitar riff, and is quickly met with an equally groovy drum beat. After a quick intro, Ada makes her way onto the track offering her stellar vocals and a story that draws you in close. Ada’s songwriting feels so special as it seems to be nothing short of pure honesty and emotion. Every element of this track works in perfect harmony, causing this song to strike you so deeply and be such an enjoyable listen from start to finish. Do yourself a favor and check out this song this weekend, I promise you won’t regret it!

I’ve linked the song down below, so check it out while you’re here!
