Brian White

ER: Hometown / living now?:

Brian: Cleveland, OH / Studio City, CA

ER: What is the thing that keeps you so drawn towards music?:

Brian: I’ve been playing musical instruments and recording music since I was a kid. I started playing saxophone in grade school, and quickly jumped into learning & playing guitar while recording. The goosebumps you get the first time you discover THAT song or THAT artist, or producer, is what keeps me so excited.

ER: What are you working on now?:

Brian: I am currently managing an incredible artist named JAHMED as well as our entire producer and writer division.

ER: What project are you most proud of working on / was most memorable?

Brian: A few of the Revels producers that I work closely with have had some really big moments this year – Frankie Bash co-produced Kendrick Lamar & Baby Keem’s “Family Ties” which just got two GRAMMY nods, Tommy Parker co-produced J. Cole’s “Interlude”,  Sam Barsh co-wrote on Kanye West, Lil Baby & The Weeknd’s “Hurricane”, and Ambezza co-produced “Girls Want Girls” ft. Lil Baby off of Drakes Certified Lover Boy. The artist I manage, JAHMED, wrapped up his first festival run this year at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado after releasing his second project.

ER: What are your goals for the future?:

Brian: Personally: Continue going on my daily bike rides, and working towards a 100mile ride.

Brian: Professionally: Sign my first producer client to Revels. Another future goal of mine is to expand my network throughout different genres of music outside of what I am currently working on.

ER: What is your mantra?

Brian: A mantra that I always go by is to fail forward. Everyone will run into obstacles in life, but what truly makes people great is when they take those hardships/failures as lessons and move forward as a stronger person. The only times anyone truly fails is when they give up. **Fun Fact, I have an entire leg sleeve tattoo dedicated to this**

ER: What is your favorite part about music/working in the music industry?:

Brian: When it comes down to it, music is my passion. With every job there are ups and downs, but my favorite part about my job and what brings me the most fulfillment is helping people bring their creative visions to life. Whether it’s helping produce a music video, sourcing creative collaborators or engineering songs, helping people reach their full potential is the best part.
