ROSSE // Main Character

I don’t know about you, but my TikTok “For You” page recently has been filled with incredible videos from Puerto-Rican born and Los-Angeles based singer-songwriter ROSSE. What these videos contained were intimate moments of this young artist sharing her music with friends, family, and even renowned songwriter Lauren Christy. Within these videos the track she was showcasing was, “Main Character,” and now, this viral track that garnered worldwide attention is finally out for the world to enjoy.

“Main Character” is a powerful energizing anthem that lyrically takes aim at self-confidence. With its fearless opening line “Make room for me b*tch,” the listener is instantly hooked on this track, keeping you on the edge of your seat. Sonically, the soundscape falls along the lines of industrial club-pop, and electronica, which is thrillingly unique.

ROSSE shares on the song, “I think the world is hungry now (more than ever) for confidence-brewing music. I believe the best songwriters not only possess the ability to connect, but also have the desire to instill a way of thinking that resonates with listeners not just for 2 to 3 minutes, but for a lifetime.”

This young artist has managed to create a song that has the capacity to boost people’s mood from all walks of life. Whether you are getting ready in the morning, blasting music in your car, or pre-gaming to go out, “Main Character” is an exhilarating song for any time of day.

If you are a fan of Ava Max, Kim Petras, and/or Dua Lipa, ROSSE will be your new favorite artist. Listen to “Main Character” today, check out ROSSE’s TikTok, and get ready for new music coming real soon.
