Barely legal are so cool. They’re outta Tampa, Florida which I’ve found to be a hotspot for not only great but innovative artists.
Barely Legal is a collective who are obviously going to get Brockhampton comparisons for the group dynamic yet certainly stand out and have been building buzz with their releases since 2020. If you want a taste of what they have to offer check our their On the Radar Freestyle which is simply insane.
Their recent drop ‘CHACHASLIDE’ goes so hard. It’s one of those rare tracks where every single verse on a muli-verse track hits. I was absolutely hooked from the confident prologue at the beginning of this joint.
The production on this one is super fun and compatible enough for everybody to kill it. The high energy fun is complemented extremely well by the music video which features some hilarious scenes and is extremely well produced.
These guys are making some cool stuff and I’m here for it. Keen to hear and see more.
