Penny X is an alternative pop artist and song writer out of Berlin, Germany. She recently just dropped a six song EP called, “how to (not) get over your X”. A pretty good EP, but the song that stood out to me the most was “Back to Your Dad’s”.
I am sucker for a good intro and right off the bat I could just feel the energy. The story being shared is something a lot of people can relate to. You see your ex doing something for someone they never did for you, it’ll have anyone thinking, “wtf”. Penny X wasn’t afraid to say exactly how she felt when she saw her ex with his new girlfriend. This song was bloc party of attitude and broken glass, I couldn’t help but bob my head and turn up the music.
