This is a song I have been on the look out for the last few weeks. I had come across Brenn!’s Tik Tok account in which he teased everyone with a snippet of his newest single “4Runner that dropped today. Since then I had just been waiting for this track to drop. It’s safe to say after all the waiting the song did not disappoint me at all.
Listening to the18 year old folk pop artist with his newest song “4Runner” I could not help but feel some type of nostalgia. There was something very cinematic with the story being told yet insanely relaxing that just made me feel free. I unpack the song as a story of someone who is troubled by the distance of a relationship(s) and the idea of physical proximity really comes into play. No where is worth being anywhere if it’s not where your people are at and I think the whole world can relate to that.
The future could look really bright for Brenn! as he moves forward in his music career. He could be an artist that could be the face of pop folk in the next few years. I am really excited to see what else he puts out in the future and is definitely an artist you should be keeping an close eye on.
