I am a sucker for a bass line so when I first heard the snippet of this song on Tik Tok, I just let it loop over and over. This is a song I have been keeping my eyes on out on the look for and have been excited for it to drop. For all the alternative RnB lovers this is a track you are not gonna want to miss out on. Nick Mono’s highly anticipated single “Michelin Man” did not disappoint me at all.
Sometimes less is more. This is a really simple track, but it does everything right for me. It’s melodic and groovy while still sharing unique pieces that makes his sound his own. The change of flow from singing to rapping back to singing was nice part of the song that I wasn’t expecting nor did I from the snippets shared on Tik Tok.The clear influences of RnB, funk, and rock brings a charisma to this track that has me and I am sure many other to gravitate towards Nick Mono’s “Michelin Man”.
There is a bright future for UK artist. There’s no details of when he will drop more music but keep an eye out for him.
